All proceeds from the Silent Auction are being donated to the Sandra Schmirler Foundation.

Rules:

  1. The Silent Auction will begin Friday, November 4th at 12PM and close on Sunday, November 6th at 12PM.
  2. We will be hosting the Silent Auction both in-person and through Facebook.
  3. Bids made online/in-person will be updated by the club every hour or so (highest, most current bid on Facebook will be transferred to paper and highest, most current bid on paper will be transferred to Facebook). The last transfer will take place around 11:30 PM on Sunday November 6th.
  4. To make a bid for the Silent Auction item on Facebook, simply enter your bid amount in the comment section of the PHOTO in the album. Opening bids, if applicable will be listed on the items photo description or paper bidding sheet. Any bids not adhering to this format will be declared invalid and voided. 
  5. Once the auction is declared closed (12PM on Sunday, November 6th), the highest bid entered on either the comment section on Facebook or the Paper sheet in person, that adheres to the designated increment, shall constitute the winning bid and will be marked. In the event of a dispute, the Sutherland Curling Club will act as the final authority.
  6. The winning bidder will be contacted, via Facebook message OR if bid was in-person, via phone, to arrange payment (cash, credit, debit, e-transfer) and to arrange pick up of item.
  7. Payment for items purchased must be made in full. We accept cash, credit, debit, or e-transfer.
  8. If the item is left unclaimed for 48 hours it will be offered to the next highest bidder and sold.
  9. By bidding in the Aly Jenkins Silent Auction, each bidder agrees to these auction rules. The Sutherland Curling Club reserves the right to add or withdraw items, without notice, to or from the Online Silent Auction. Auction item purchases are final. No returns or exchanges will be issued. All items are “as is”.
